USA and multiethnic society...?

It depends on the location. America is huge, and it has its good places and bad places. New York, being an upstate and upscale part of America, is culturally accepting. However, in places such as ghettos and lower-end locations, racism is alive and well. In the end, it all depends on how educated a person is and how ignorant he/she is. And in general, people of the same status live close together, so as multi-ethnic as it is, it doesn't mean the US shares the same acceptance everywhere.
