Wrath of the Lynch King help.... disk wont recognize.?

I am thinking cause it says DvD on the front that it is written in DvD form... I bought the game, stick it in, wont read on my computer. Is there a way I can download it someother way using my Key? Or did I just screw my self out of more money some how?
