Teachers : what is your opinion on homeschooling ?

it seems like you are on track with educating your son and if you continue to build his literacy skills, cognitive skills, he should be just fine. my one friend and his three siblings were homeschooled and their mother went above and beyond teaching and providing everything to her children. if done right, i think home schooling can foster premier education for students. it is a difficult job for parents, but many times well worth it. make sure though that your children are well rounded and socially connected with children their age through various activities.
