Why do the Dallas Cowboys still get tons of Media and Press Coverage despite being mediocre for so many years?

now? Seriously, why does everybody act as if the Dallas Cowboys won or made it to a Super Bowl recently when in reality they have not even sniffed a Super Bowl since 1995, they have won only 1 playoff game in the past 14 or 15 years but yet everybody see's, views them as the Yankees or the Lakers of the NFL, why don't the Steelers or the Patriots get more attention than the Cowboys do? at least the Patriots and Steelers have won Championships in recent years unlike the Cowboys.
